TROUBLESHOOTING

Start with the source, then narrow the problem.

The device code is rejected

Scan the QR Code, or confirm the temporary device key and all six digits while the same pairing screen remains open. Codes expire after ten minutes and are invalidated after repeated incorrect attempts or a successful browser authorization. Generate a new code and retry if the app was closed, the server restarted or the network changed.

The site says sent, but the device does not save

Keep Txcc open for a few seconds. The encrypted package is available for only two minutes after submission. If the app reports an invalid address or unavailable numeric code, verify the source with the provider, generate another pairing code and resend it.

A local source is missing

Reconnect the USB drive or reopen the operating-system file picker. For DLNA, put both devices on the same non-guest network and wake the media server. Check that the router permits local-device discovery.

A playlist will not authenticate

Check the username, password and endpoint character by character. Prefer the provider's HTTPS endpoint. Confirm that the provider account is active from a network and device the provider supports. Txcc cannot reset credentials issued by an external provider.

The catalog loads slowly

Large external catalogs take time to download and organize. Keep the app open during the first load. Later visits can use a local cache while the app checks for changes in the background. Clearing app data removes that cache and requires a new download.

Video opens but does not play

Try another known-compatible file from the same source. If it works, the failing media may use an unsupported codec, profile, subtitle format, resolution or protection system. If every item fails, verify the network, endpoint and account status.

Contact support safely

Email txcc_support@proton.me with the device model, operating-system version, Txcc version, source type and the exact non-sensitive error message. Do not include a playlist password, username or full private address.
